About Us Management Team | Board of Trustees Paul G. Smyth - Senior Managing Director; Portfolio Management Group Paul G. Smyth is a Senior Managing Director of Centerline Capital Group (“Centerline”), a subsidiary of Centerline Holding Company (NYSE:CHC), and head of the Portfolio Management Group. Mr. Smyth oversees the Primary Servicing, Special Servicing, Affordable Asset Management, Construction Monitoring and Portfolio Oversight functions. Mr. Smyth was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of ARCap, a full-service real estate finance company acquired by Centerline’s predecessor company in 2006. Mr. Smyth joined ARCap in 2002, where he served as Managing Director of Capital Markets. Prior to joining ARCap, he was Managing Director-Servicing for Banc One Mortgage Capital Markets, LLC (n/k/a ORIX Capital Markets, LLC) and oversaw its $50 billion Master/Special Servicing platform, inclusive of 40 sub-servicers and 80 servicing employees. He also served as a Senior Special Servicing Portfolio Manager at Banc One Mortgage Capital Markets. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President/Group Manager at Banc One New Hampshire Asset Management, where he managed a $450 million problem loan portfolio comprising over 2,000 commercial, franchise and real estate loans located throughout New England and along the east coast. From 1989 to 1992, he served as Vice President Real Estate Division of Bonnet Resources Corporation managing a $200 million problem loan/REO portfolio. He began his career in 1986 as a Credit Analyst and Vice President in the Real Estate Lending Division of Bank One Texas.
